This adapter enables the use of Hasselblad-500 series lenses with the WRS and XT technical cameras.

This combination will work with those digital backs that have a built-in ES-shutter (sensor activated electronic shutter), which work as shutterless digital back, such as the PhaseOne IQ3-100 and the new IQ-4 series. In case you prefer to work with the lens' leaf shutter - moving subject, use of strobes - we refer to our WRS-HVSA adapter, which enables the use of the mechanical leaf shutter inside the lens.

The aperture of the lenses is set manually, the shutter remains open.

The availability of Hasselblad lenses of the 500 series goes back a long time and this also gives you the opportunity to use particular old style legacy lenses, as well as very long focal lengths without the extreme physical extension of symmetric LF lenses.
